We have a guest blog today! Please welcome my friend and colleague Dr. Roland Guenther.
The Secret of Gold
I am holding in my hands a tiny glass vial, and when I turn it, a fine yellow dust is shining. Gold. 0.29 grams, the result of a week of gold panning. A couple of weeks ago I was with a friend on a canoe trip in an old gold rush area in Northern BC. I was never so sore in my life, bruised up by rapids, worn down from moving boulders, from digging in gravel and from bushwhacking through dense brush. Sitting by the campfire in the evening I listened to many gold stories, talking about lost dreams, unsuccessful efforts, betrayal and even murder. I could not help feeling that those men succumbed to an illness, the gold fever, the rural counterpart of the urban gambling addiction. Few were lucky, most of them lost in the game. Not one story talked about happiness.
My thoughts turn to the present and immediately my heart feels lighter. I see in my mind some of those people that I could help with a homeopathic remedy made of gold. They came to see me with heart diseases, with severe inflammations of the joints or in the deepest depression. Homeopathic gold helped them to find health and happiness again.

How can it be understood that the desire for gold created so much suffering and the gold homeopathic can heal so much suffering? Some fairy tales start with the loss of the golden ball of the princess and then the whole story is about finding it again. In growing up we often lose our golden heart, our golden essence, and then all our lives are about finding that again, finding this innermost core of our being. The gold seekers were misguided, they were looking for the outer gold, and what they found was mainly suffering, loss, despair or even death. The outer gold – almost drug like – might be promising happiness, but like all drugs, it cannot keep its promise. It is the inner gold that makes us happy. What is present in a homeopathic remedy is the pure vibrational essence of gold. The essence of the gold helps us to find our own essence, our innermost core and this is what truly makes us happy.
Remember this secret and share it when you see a friend struggling with depression or a severe disease. Chances are that you can help her/him to find healing again.
I’m guessing you are curious if gold is the right remedy for you. The answer is maybe. Homeopathic medicine is an art that has been around for 200 years. As a German MD specializing in homeopathy I don’t suggest just taking medicine and hoping for the best. I do highly recommend you seek an initial consultation so you can get the right remedy that is tailored to your healthcare needs.
