Natural immunity…what is it, how did we lose it, and how can we regain it?
Please meet Dr. Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD (Immunology). If you are a vaccine-free family or almost vaccine free, her book Vaccine Illusion: How Vaccination Compromises Our Natural Immunity and What We can Do to Regain Our Health and her course are a must read and must attend.
I urge you to learn from a mom and an immunology scholar. If you ever wanted medical information about the immune system that will help you explain to well-meaning physicians and family why you have chosen to be vaccine-free, this is the course.

Why I teach Natural Immunity Fundamentals
By Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD
When approaching the topic of vaccination, we come against the “Wall of Beliefs” diligently erected by the biomedical establishment. Most people accept these beliefs as a matter of fact.
We have all been informed about overwhelming benefits compared to negligible side effects of the childhood vaccination schedule. However, we are not informed that systematic and scientifically rigorous studies are lacking to demonstrate this assumption for a fact in relation to long-term outcomes of overall health.
We have all been told many times over that vaccines, adversely affecting only a rare individual, have saved countless lives. However, there are too few resources out there to tell us about natural health-strengthening practices capable of saving countless lives without sacrificing any other.
We have been conditioned to think that parents who refuse to vaccinate their children, strictly by the recommended schedule or not at all, somehow endanger the entire society. But it is time to find out that subjecting children to the recommended vaccination schedule cannot avert the implied dangers.
I hold a PhD in Immunology, the field of science that invented vaccination. I joined this field for my PhD work while being a faithful believer in vaccination. I felt very adamantly that the established immunologic theory provides a strong scientific foundation and a rational justification for the practice of vaccination. Based on such a textbook-instilled view, I saw no reason to question or scrutinize the proclaimed virtues of vaccination. Until one day… when I became aware that vaccination is not sufficient to prevent disease.
I had a personal experience of contracting measles and later whooping cough despite being properly vaccinated for these childhood diseases. My knowledge of immunologic theory and my extensive training in immunologic laboratory research did not prepare me to understand why this had happened to me. But I was not content to leave my experience unexplained.
To my dismay, I found out that medical and epidemiological literature is full of well-documented cases of disease occurrence in properly vaccinated individuals, too numerous to be discounted as simply vaccine failures.
To my dismay, I found out that vaccine immunity is waning in nature rather than life-long, as my professional education in immunology led me to believe.
To my dismay, I found out that after taking the risks associated with vaccines, however big or small they may be, I should be fully prepared to handle diseases as well.
But despite being an immunology professional, I lacked the knowledge of natural immune defense mechanisms, which enable us to handle infections naturally. I had to amass this valuable knowledge on my own, because the biomedical establishment does not find it necessary to provide it in an academic curriculum for biomedical professionals.
I found much of the holistic wisdom on natural health to be validated by modern research. Many holistic families have embraced health-strengthening practices, such as breastfeeding, high quality of nutrition, restricting the use of pharmaceutical drugs and pesticide-laden or processed foods, perhaps without even realizing that the benefits of their choices to the immune system are fully supported by modern research.
Breastfeeding is the method of immunologic protection tailored precisely to baby’s needs. Babies have not evolved to be vaccine-dependent or vaccine injury-proof. Babies have evolved to be breast milk-dependent for all of their immunologic needs for the first few years of life. Modern science has discovered how numerous components of breast milk confer various aspects of immunologic protection.
The quality of nutrition continues to be a crucial determinant of the functionality of natural immune defenses in older children and adults (especially nursing mothers), while a common medical practice of fever suppression is bound to weaken natural immune defenses when they are most sorely needed. Modern science has revealed how some specific nutrients, scarce in the Standard American Diet to start with and further depleted by some common medications, are required for natural immune defenses to function properly.
Mainstream science portrays vaccine technology as Man’s triumph over Mother Nature’s inherently faulty designs. But Mother Nature is not faulty. She does not fail us, when we meet Her requirements. I am wary of insufficient emphasis given by the biomedical establishment to meeting the requirements of natural immune defenses.
Furthermore, I am deeply troubled by research findings alerting us that vaccination is incompatible with optimal health. Many vaccines (especially aluminum-based vaccines) undermine the immune system’s balance from infancy on, whereas a prolonged use of live attenuated vaccines fails to preserve maternal immunity for new generations of infants to come.
Much of this science is hidden in plain sight and is not disseminated by the biomedical establishment. I find it important to fill this gap by discussing scientific findings that support the rationality of natural vaccine-independent approach to health. This is the reason for my e-book, Vaccine Illusion, and for a Skype-based course called Natural Immunity Fundamentals.
When optimal health of our children is the goal, accepting vaccine handouts from the biomedical establishment is no longer an option. We pay a heavy price for those free handouts.
Tetyana Obukhanych earned her PhD in Immunology at the Rockefeller University, New York, NY with her research dissertation focused on immunologic memory, a phenomenon perceived by the biomedical establishment to be the theoretical basis of immunity and vaccine protection. She was subsequently involved in laboratory research as a postdoctoral research fellow within leading biomedical institutions, such as Harvard Medical School and Stanford University School of Medicine, before fully devoting herself to parenting and homeschooling. Being a mom, her primary goal is to raise a healthy child naturally.
Her other goal is to bring scientifically substantiated and dogma-free perspective on vaccination and natural immunity to other parents, health advocates, and health care practitioners.
Thank you, Dr. Tetyana!
Yours in health and healing of our immune systems!
